Weeks-old kittens abandoned in Oxfordshire garden need new home

RSPCA Oxfordshire posted an appeal to would-be cat owners for seven kittens currently in the charity’s care who are in need of a new home.
Three of them, Acorn, Autumn, and Patch, were found abandoned in a garden seriously ill with cat flu and ringworm.

The charity took them in and they have now recovered, having being separated from their mother at just four weeks old, so are looking for “forever homes”.
A spokesperson for RSPCA Oxfordshire said: “Despite facing many challenges these girls are playful, happy, friendly and confident.
“Acorn is a wiggly, squeaking fluff ball who will always be under your feet demanding fuss and play.

“Patch has always been confident, and also full of purrs and sweetness.
“They will all make wonderful companions, and need a house where people have time to play.”
Also looking for new families are Carlie and Gracie, who were also the result of an investigation after being left unwanted.

They were found alone in a property with two grown-up cats, but no owners to look after them.
The charity would like to see the kittens adopted in pairs where possible, or to a home with a young friendly cat.
