Three people are wanted after 12 people were injured in a shooting at a Toronto pub Friday night, police said.

The shooting occurred around 10:39 p.m. near Progress Avenue and Corporate Drive, Toronto police said, which is in the Scarborough section of the city.

The gunmen opened fire at patrons as they entered the pub, police said.

There were no deaths, and all injuries are non-life threatening, police said, adding that six of the victims had suffered gunshot wounds. All victims were taken to hospitals to receive medical attention.

The three people wanted by police are all male. A motive for the shooting remains unclear.

“One had an assault rifle,” police Superintendent Paul McIntyre said early Saturday morning. “The other two had guns.”

McIntyre said the gunmen had masks over the faces during the shooting, and that he had “no idea” where they are.

“We’re chasing down all leads,” he said. “I can tell you, this was a brazen and reckless act of violence that’s really shaken our community and the city itself.”

Video from CTV showed first responders wheeling one patient on a gurney to an ambulance, and heavily armed police at the scene.

Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow said in a statement posted to social media that all police resources have been deployed.

“I am deeply troubled to hear reports of a shooting at a pub in Scarborough. I have spoken to Chief Demkiw and he has assured me all necessary resources have been deployed,” Chow said, referring to Toronto Chief of Police Myron Demkiw.

“This is an early and ongoing investigation — police will provide further details. My thoughts are with the victims and their families,” she said.

Toronto police said there will be an increased police presence in the area surrounding the pub and are urging anyone with information or video to contact them.
