‘Spy High’ Docuseries From EP Mark Wahlberg Lands At Prime Video

Prime Video has ordered a four-part docu-series on Blake Robbins, the Pennsylvania student who filed a lawsuit against his prestigious public school for allegedl spying on him when he was accused of selling drugs.

Spy High, which will delve not only into the 2010 lawsuit but also into the larger implications of digital privacy in schools, is set to debut at SXSW in March. Mark Wahlberg set to executive produce via his Unrealistic Ideas banner.

After its festival debut, the series will be available on Prime Video in April. No specific release date has been announced.

Additional executive producers are Archie Gips and Stephen Levinson also via Unrealistic Ideas, Aliza Rosen, Jody McVeigh-Schultz and David Wendell. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios.

We hope this docuseries will encourage viewers to think critically about the balance between security and personal rights in educational settings.”

Unrealistic Ideas is no stranger to critically acclaimed documentaries. Past projects have included McMillion$, Wahl Street, The Murders at Starved Rock, The Golden Boy and Moviepass, Moviecrash.
