RCMP officers are searching for 31-year-old Ashley Desjarlais of Meadow Lake, Sask., who they say may need their help.

In the early hours of January 4, 2025, Desjarlais was seen at a residence just north of the Saskatchewan/Alberta border city of Lloydminster.

Minutes later (at 1:23 a.m. Saskatchewan time, or 23 minutes after midnight in Alberta time), Desjarlais was reported missing to the Maidstone RCMP.

“The person who reported her missing indicated Ashley may have been the victim of an assault,” Maidstone RCMP said in a news release later that morning. “As such, officers are working diligently to locate Ashley to confirm her safety and get her medical attention if required.”

The RCMP says Desjarlais is possibly with a man, driving in a large SUV that might be a Dodge Durango.

Desjarlais has brown hair and brown eyes, and a tattoo on her throat. She is 4’11” tall and weighs approximately 145 lbs.

Police do not know what she was last seen wearing, or where she may be going.

If you have seen Ashley Desjarlais or know where she is, contact Maidstone RCMP at 310-RCMP immediately. Information can also be submitted anonymously by contacting Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or www.saskcrimestoppers.com.
