A 50-year-old Windsor man faces numerous charges, including attempted murder, after a woman was struck with a vehicle.

LaSalle police began investigating the incident Monday when a 48-year-old woman reported to police that a male acquaintance deliberately drove his pickup truck toward her at a park in the 4600 block of Malden Road.

Police said the woman attempted to jump out of the way of the speeding truck but she was hit by the vehicle’s side mirror.
